This card is selling at Amazon.com for $299 plus a $50 rebate from ATI. At $250 it's a perfect 10 for those looking to extend the useful life of their Dual G5 PowerMac. Great job ATI! Thanks Amazon. |

Great card. Offers great performance over the 9600 XT I had in my G5 previously. I'd say the only drawback is the noticeable amount of fan noise that comes from the card. It's still fairly quiet, but not quite that "I can barely tell the computer is on" quiet I had prior to installing the card. Still, given its performance, that's a reasonable trade-off. |

The XT works great! it runs games beautilfully. I used the card with Doom 3 and completely maxed out the settings and it ran smoothly. I maxed out the settings with world of warcraft and it got a little choppy at times but still ran fairly smooth, and thats with 2gigs of ram. the only thing i can say negatively on the card is that the fan is a little loud, not too bad, but you can definantly hear it over the other fans. |

An important factor for many users is that the X800 supports the 30" display, but does not take up two PCI slots like the GeForce card. |

This card is great. I have played all my older games and some newer ones all that max resolution and settings. Nothing yet has slowed this card down. I have also overclocked it to full PC speed. and just a tad over. So, at least for me, there is headroom. Being that the G5 is a much cooler case for airflow, I am sure it will stay as solid as it has been for the past week. Great job ATi. Very happy with the card. :) |

Excellent Card - heavy card compared to the 9600XT I pulled out. Pretty Quick Install - keep track of that screw when installing the card. ATI Utility program is excellent feature NWN and Railroad Tycoon look and play excellent. Picked up 35% more FPS playing WWII online which is using a 5 year old engine. Game never looked better. 9800Pro manual shipped with card - not a good choice ATI. Packaging kept card in good shape.

Awesome! The wait was worth it. I was considering a GeForce 6800 GT until I heard about this card. The selling point for me was the ATI Utilities program which allows you to override FSAA and AT settings. Definitely worth it. |
